They miss them because they don't yet see they're there.

Or they sense something — a connection, a possibility, an opening — but have no idea how to reach toward it. How to start that conversation. How to hear what's being said underneath the surface.

This is more common than you think. And it's not a flaw.

Nobody teaches us how to have conversations that go somewhere meaningful. How to ask the question that opens a door. How to hear the unspoken thing that changes everything.

That's exactly where I work.

I'm Kerryn Powell — and I see what others often miss.

In a room full of people, I don't see a crowd. I see a constantly shifting pattern of potential conversations, unexpected connections, and possibilities that haven't been named yet.

That's not a professional framework I developed. It's how I've always moved through life.

With diverse work experience and more than a decade witnessing thousands of facilitated conversations, I've come to understand something that shapes everything I do: a catalyst doesn't force a reaction. It changes the conditions so the right one can occur naturally.
