Every Conversation is a Catalyst – Series Two is Coming!

Hello! I'm Kerryn Powell, and welcome back to Conversations and Connections to amplify and inspire—where we share real stories and meaningful insights that amplify connection, fuel curiosity, and inspire purposeful action.

Or, if this is the first time we’ve connected, a warm welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

Many years ago, I was involved in a career research project. It invited me to explore possibilities—not just for myself, but for others too. And that idea of possibility through connection is something I’ve carried with me ever since.

As the founder of Your Time Matters, a business networking community based in Melbourne, I’ve spent years helping professionals, business owners and changemakers shift the way they connect. Why? Because I’ve seen—time and again—that one conversation can truly change everything.

So today, I want to share a little about Series Two of the podcast—why it matters, and how these next episodes are more than just something to listen to. They’re an invitation.

Real Conversations. Real People. Real Impact.

When it comes down to it, real conversations are still the gateway to quality connections, fresh insights, and the confidence to pursue your goals.

Series Two is about going beyond surface-level exchanges. We’re diving deeper into the kinds of conversations that help you feel connected, inspired, and equipped to take your next step—whatever that may be.

The voices you’ll hear? They’re not random guests. Every single one is someone I’ve met—either in person, through meaningful conversations, collaborations, or online connections. These are people I’ve engaged with because of our shared interest in growth, contribution and creating impact.

They’re part of the living, breathing web of relationships that surrounds all of us—often quietly, powerfully—and they’re here to remind us that we are never truly alone.

Networks Aren’t Just for Business Cards

We often think of networks as tools—something to help us “get ahead” or “find leads.” But in truth, they’re communities.

Our networks exist to help us explore, excite, and expand our world. To offer new ways of thinking, different life experiences, potential solutions—and maybe most importantly, to remind us that someone out there understands.

That’s what Series Two brings to the table. Conversations that uncover the how behind confidence, clarity, and courage.

Together, we’ll explore:

💬 Career & Business Growth – How to build momentum through purposeful conversations.

🤝 Stronger Networks – How to move from competition to collaboration and foster support.

🌱 Meaningful Impact – How intentional connection can transform not only your world but ripple out into the lives of others.

Not Just Networking—A New Way to See Connection

Let’s be honest—many people still find networking awkward or transactional. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

When you stop treating networking as a task to tick off, and start embracing it as an opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow—it becomes your most valuable asset.

Not just in business, but in life.

In Series Two, I’ll introduce you to people who’ve taken that leap. Who said yes to the conversation, showed up with authenticity, and created something meaningful as a result.

And I think you’ll find something in every story to reflect on, be encouraged by, or even be moved to act upon.

What’s Possible Behind Your Next Conversation?

So whether you’re walking the dog, commuting, or enjoying a quiet moment to yourself—I invite you to tune in and listen deeply.

Let these stories stir something in you. Let them remind you of what’s possible when we slow down long enough to really connect.

And remember—your next opportunity might already be sitting within your network. Waiting for you to simply begin a conversation.

📣 Series Two launches this May!

Make sure to follow or subscribe so you don’t miss a moment. And if you haven’t yet, go back and explore Series One—it’s full of gems that still hold so much relevance today.

Because the conversations we have now… can shape everything that comes next.
